Monster Mash VIII

welcome to malborough music monster mash 8

We are excited to announce the 8th Monster Mash which will take place on 23rd April 2016. With yet again a collection of local talented diverse music acts. 8 out of the 10 acts are gracing the mash stage for the first time, big thanks to Mathieu Cook for coordinating and producing a fresh line up once again.

Our headline act this year is the Classic Rock Co fronted by local legend, blues rock guitarist and singer song writer Ray Minhinnett. Ray has had an illustrious career including playing with Alan Price of the Animals and joining forces with Frankie Miller forming Frankie Miller’s full house. Nominated a long side Eric Clapton, Rory Gallagher and Gary Moore for best British Blues Guitarist, Ray and the Classic Rock Co are not to be missed.

The evening lineup is completed with huge variety of genres with Latin reggae funk from Malavita (fronted by Boo of Blue Orchid fame) , indie retro alternative rock from The Sheikhs, fuzz pop and garage rock from Tinned Fruit and Bulletproof future have the responsibility of bringing some metal.

Our family friendly afternoon will see a variety of up and coming young acoustic acts and some greatly anticipated Jazz from the KCC Jazz ensemble. The Monster Mash supported Dave Sharp Young Musicians will also perform as The Workshop Band who never fail to impress audiences.

There will be a licensed bar supported by St Austell brewery and catering this year provided by “on the green bus”.

Raising money again for St Lukes, Macmillan and the Triangle Centre, an absolute steal at £7 per ticket for the wealth of entertainment provided. Tickets are on sale at Kingsbridge Information Centre.

Held in memory of our friend Dave.
